Canteen

While the canteen doesn't operate daily, we do offer a fortnightly Meal Deal to ensure students have access to convenient and nutritious lunch options. Our P&C run canteen is proudly operated by dedicated volunteers who help create a welcoming and supportive environment for our school community. Every fortnight, the canteen offers a popular Meal Deal, which can be conveniently ordered and paid for online, making it easy for families to participate and plan ahead.

In addition to providing delicious and affordable meals, the P&C supports a variety of community events throughout the year, including sports carnivals, special themed days, and other school activities. These initiatives help bring everyone together, foster school spirit, and enhance the overall student experience. The volunteers’ commitment extends beyond the canteen, contributing significantly to building a strong, connected, and vibrant school community that values collaboration and inclusivity

PARENTS AND CITIZENS’ ASSOCIATION (P&C)

We are extremely fortunate here at Dora Creek Public School to have such a dedicated and active Parents and Citizens’ Association. All parents and members of the community are welcome to attend.

PARENT PARTICIPATION - VOLUNTEERS

The school enjoys and benefits from the support of its parent community. If you have any spare time there is always an opportunity to help in some area; either through assisting classes with reading, covering books, assisting in the canteen, or maintaining the school grounds. Your help is highly valued by the staff and is always appreciated.

All volunteers and helpers in the school need to complete a ‘Working with Children Check’ form. These are available from the office. All helpers and volunteers are required to sign the register at the office and wear an identification badge.
